Subject: Millersville’s Communication and Theatre Department benefits from the Snapper
Dr. TR-L
Millersville University’s Department of Communication and Theatre consists of great organizations. The Snapper delivers on the department's goal of developing creative and problem-solving student minds. A story about The Snapper process and how it does this would greatly serve the department well.
With the start of a new semester, The Snapper, Millersville’s newspaper has opened again. It serves as a student-based news source on campus. The Snapper serves as a great student resource.
“It’s a combination of giving outsiders a way to stay updated about the whereabouts on campus while also giving the people who are directly in The Snapper professional experience that they can use in any field,” says Editor-In-Chief Shaun J. Lucas.
At the same time, the Snapper can also help in other areas.
“It gives people who want to get into the communications field a leg up if they’re in The Snapper,” says Managing Editor Nick Hughes. “If they’re a journalism major and they’re not in The Snapper, they’re doing something wrong in my opinion.”
I’m providing you with an opportunity to shine light on the department. The Snapper publishes new content every Thursday so please let me know if you’re interested soon. If needed, we can set up interviews with Snapper members for you.
I’ll call for your decision in a few days. Call me at 267-393-5239 if you need help.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
