Social media tool that I currently use personally and professionally is Instagram. Instagram is a social media app that I and others can use for many purposes. It makes me laugh, connects me with my friends, and alerts me on serious issues going on in the world. One important part is the sports content. Being a sports journalist in training, having an outlet that I'm familiar with that posts much sports content is certainly helpful for my future as a sports journalist. I'm not at the point where I've started using social media apps professionally, but in due time, this presence will be enforced. I just recently became active on LinkedIN, Twitter, and Facebook.
At Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, I was very active in sports. Looking up my name on Google, I found stats of my accomplishments posted on websites. Sadly, my football career wasn't too great, so I there wasn't anything to find about when I looked myself up in that area. My wrestling career also wasn't as great but more successful than football with my personal record being 17-20 on PA-Wrestling.com (PA-Wrestling). Track and field is where I had my most success with me currently being the top javelin thrower in my high school’s history and in the top 6 for the shot put, listed on athletic.net (Athletic Net).
Although my sports career at my high school may not have been so glamorous, this doesn't mean that that'll rub off on my sports journalism. My academics have always matched up better against my athletics. While learning the rules of journalism, I’ve had my downfalls but have come back from them stronger and stronger in the writing form and life in general each time. Writing has always been a passion of mine. Having been a participant in the sports world, I feel that I can relate to what those still in it may go through and tell their stories the way they want them told. However, outside of sports, there are also important matters that need attention, so they'll be receiving much of it from me as well.

Similar to journalism, digital marketing is a field I have begun showing interest and actively participating in. As I learn more on what this field has to offer, I realize that it suits and matches the interests of my desired career choice which is writing and producing enterainting and helpful content of some kind for the world to see.
